The Comitato Leonardo wants to be instrumental to the promotion and be testimony of "Italian Quality" around the world. It was conceived by a group of business people, artists, scientists and cultured persons desirous to collaborate in reaching their goal by staging high profile events. The Comitato counts on the participation of individuals who are well known in their field of "made in Italy" and who share the responsibility of maintaining Italy's position and image world-wide. ICE - Italian Institute for Foreign Trade - and Confindustria supply the organisational support to the initiative by enhancing, through the Comitato Leonardo, all that Italy has to offer, creating links between production, art, culture and science. The Comitato Leonardo is aided in its efforts by other Institutions who are involved in promoting and fostering Italian interests abroad. Among the participants are high officials of state such as the President of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Production Activities.
