Since 1995 the ceremony has become a prestigious event which takes place annually under the auspices of the President of the Italian Republic at Palazzo del Quirinale. The highest acknowledgement to the initiatives of the Comitato Leonardo is given by the attention and participation of the President of the Italian Republic who awards the winners, designated by a highly representative jury, at the presence of Italian authorities, the Diplomatic Corp, and the mass media. |
